Below are just a few of the hundreds of Master Anglers that Molson Lake guests have caught throughout the season.

"We enjoyed the greatest fishing experience of a lifetime at Molson Lake in September. We each averaged 50-60 Lake Trout a day in shallow water with fish measuring up to 35 inches. As it is hard to believe, we actually shortened our fishing days because we were actually tired of hauling in fish. Fishing & hospitality at their best!" Bob Bailey, above-left, and Fred Funk celebrate their 30th year fishing in Canada by catching these two Master Anglers at Molson Lake in mid September. "We made our first trip to Molson in 1974 & what better way to enjoy our 30th anniversary of Canadian fishing than going to Molson in September of 2004. It turned out to be one of our best fishing trips anywhere. From the N.W. Territories to Brazil - I don't remember a better trip! Beautiful blue-bird days & lots of action. Tom boated 71 Trout with both his fly rod & casting rod the first day. The next two days we boated 109 Trout Tuesday & 129 Trout on Wednesday, including a Master Angler Laker & a Master Angler Northern. I didn't fish on Monday, and we still caught 367 Trout in 3 days!"

"In one hour, Steve & I caught 30 plus Lake Trout, including SEVEN DOUBLES, while casting spoons in a small bay just south of the lodge. It's true what they say about fall fishing. The fishing was fantastic! Excellent times!!"

My husband and I caught 196 fish in 3 1/2 days. Catching a 42" Northern was very exciting for me! The lodge was comfortable & the food was great! I can't wait to come back." Kathy Taylor. Rob Jordahl, above-left, had a great father/son trip at the end of June on Molson Lake. Rob's son, Luke Jordahl, above-right, gets some help from his guide holding up his trophy Walleye. The kids had a great time on this special trip. Plenty of wildlife were seen- including three different Black Bears!

From the fishing guides to the kitchen help, and household people. It was my first time fishing in Canada and it was an experience I will always remember. The Master Angler was an added bonus!"

"This was my second trip to Molson Lake Lodge & first ever Master Angler. I caught it 2 1/2 hours after we landed at Molson Lake. What a thrill for a "rookie"." Ross Hollingshead, has his experienced guide, above-right, hold up his 44 inch Master Angler he caught while on a one day fly-out. "The trip of a lifetime! The fight of my life!"

Patrick Hook & Kevin Hook (above & above-right) with a couple of their trophies from Hungry Jack Lake in mid June. "This was our 2nd year in a row back at Hungry Jack. We caught numerous Northerns over 36 inches in shallow water on surface plugs & fly rods. Great fun! See you next year!"

"Our group caught four Master Anglers including this monster 48 incher by Rick Krejcarek (above-left)., a 43" Pike, a 45 1/2 Master, and a 41 " trophy. We also caughts lots of Walleyes up to 26 inches on Max Lake." Kevin Bowar. Bud Zade, above-right, with another dandy 47 incher.

The Palik group were the first group into Max Lake and had a blast catching Pike on the fly! Mark Palik, above-left, caught this 48 incher on the fly! All together the group caught 15 Master Anglers! Bill Elder, above-right, with 45 inch trophy Northern.

"This was the best trip ever, as I brought my son David along & was able to watch him land his first Master Angler - a 47 inch Northern - what a thrill!! David, also, caught a 44 incher & numerous Walleyes." Son, David Schick, above-right, with his first ever Master Angler - a 47 inch monster! He caught his trophy on our new fly-out lake LOGAN LAKE.
