Our guides are native to the area and are thoroughly familiar with the vast territory of woods and waters surrounding our lodge, many of them trapping in the area over the winter months. Experts in the field, they handle our industry leading boats with consummate skill.

They will take you out every morning in our special Winnipeg Yawls - 20 ft. flat-bottomed fiberglass boats complete with cushioned swivel seats, depth finders, and 40 hp four-stroke motors with electric start.

These boats have been one of the main reasons why 90% of our guests are repeat or referral every season.

At noon, your guide will prepare a mouth-watering shore lunch of fish, potatoes, onions, vegetables and home-made bread while you rest your aching arms from the morning's action. After a relaxing lunch, it's time to slowly fish your way home. When you safely reach camp, the excitement of the day's adventure is shared with all, or you may choose to relax in the comfort of your cabin until dinner is served.
